The Bucket List

Morgan Freeman and Jack Nicholson together in one movie spells only one thing: phenomenal.

The plot was beautifully written and the pacing was excellent. As with typical Nicholson films, there is a lot of emotion in the movie that invites the viewer to really feel the scenes. Freeman I felt did not disappoint even once, and as an actor, he is one of the best there is. You could really see him get into the character and the lay of the plot.

The scenes were also no less spectacular. Sky-diving, racing in classic Shelbys (drools), the Pyramids, and the Taj Mahal in one film really gives the movie a great sense of majesty and scenery. Very beautiful shots of the Pyramids.

The raw emotion in the movie's climax was excellent. Freeman's narrating was top-notch, and the final scene, when the last item on the list was checked, was positively heart-wrenching. A tale of friendship that is classy and yet so humble at the same time.

Overall, stellar performance by the cast, and beautiful plot.
This is a movie that everyone must watch.

10/10

  2. I know what you mean. :)
It's a very good movie. Makes you cry not because you pity the character, but because you can feel the character's sincerity of emotion.

    Hence the 10/10 from me.
