DLSU Classroom Utilization

For those who have been wondering about the mythical "six-days-a-week academic schedule" of De La Salle University Manila, it does NOT mean that students will be attending classes for six whole days; rather, six academic days will be used while keeping the standard four-day undergraduate week of La Salle. It will be:

Mondays - Thursdays

Tuesdays - Fridays

Wednesdays - Saturdays

It's rather efficient, in my opinion :)

  1. YOU HAVE A FOUR-DAY UNDERGRADUATE WEEK?!

... and here I was thinking promised half days on Wednesday were good.

  2. Yes :) This was implemented when I was in second year (AY 2008-2009) but now due to massive renovations (our main signature building is nearly a century old) we have to do this for at least a year or so.

The schedules are rather tight though if you choose to enroll 19-20 units a term. That's 6-7 subjects squeezed in four days. If you're lazy, you'd do the minimum 12 units a term, which is usually just four subjects. Over four days. Yeah, that sucks.
